Role

  • Managing and coordinating the activities in the region, including regional subsidiaries, and interacting with key accounts and dealers/distributors for support
  • Responsible for the development and performance of all business support activities, including repair and maintenance, welding technology support, IT-support, welding automation support, promotion and marketing
  • Effort towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values
  • Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and to enter new markets in the region

 Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Implementing the strategy and following the given guidelines of the Group
  • Developing a yearly Activity plan and strategy for the region that ensures attainment of company goals
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the team
  • Leading, developing and motivating the team and reviewing the individual and team performance
  • Initiates and coordinates the development of strategic action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Cost control
  • Leads regional administrative work, business and financial controlling and reporting
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented
  • Overall subsidiary coordination
  • Sets examples for the staff in areas of personal attitude, commitment, organizational and selling skills and work habits
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

 

 Minimum Competence Requirements

  • > 5 years of experience in international management, thorough knowledge of solution business and performance management techniques
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management
  • Strong understanding of the welding industry
  • Effective people focused management and leadership skills
  • Ability to put the group strategy into practice
  • Strong financial understanding
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
  • Regional culture and business knowledge
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and oral, other regional languages are a plus
